Offers executive Post Graduate Programme in General Management

Chennai, July 10, 2018: Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai and Mando Automotive India Private Ltd, leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced, high performance Brake Systems recently announced their joint venture to launch a programme with a specialised focus on General Management in various sectors of automotive industry. This programme aims to createa pipeline of leaders who are empowered to take the organisation forward and offer strategic inputs for high-growth and high-competition scenarios. LIBA will offer this course from the next academic year (2018 - 2021).

The joint venture will mark yet another milestone in the Industry-Academia collaboration to cater the needs of the automotive industry. With globalisation and robust growth of technology resulting in pool of opportunities, this programme will offer tailor made curriculum for the participants to explore in automotive industry. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Mr. Sarathy, Joint Managing Director, Mando, Mr.Giridhar Raju, General Manager, Mando, Fr. P Christie S.J, Director – LIBA along with other senior management representatives and academicians from LIBA and MANDO.

Commenting on the joint venture, Fr. P Christie S.J, Director – LIBA said, “We at LIBA are proud to sign anMoU with Mandoas an industry partner to offer programs in the area of automotive industry. With its expertise, we are confident that Mando will be able to add value to the participants. This program will create more quality professionals with organisational and strategic thinking.”

The course is spread over a period of two years comprising of four semesters with 24 subjects of academic study.
