LETS: Avtar Singh becomes CEO

Ludhiana, December 20, 2012: Extra Ordinary General body Meeting of Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society(LETS) was held today in Punjab Trade Centre, Ludhiana under the Chairmanship of Director of Industries and Commerce Punjab-cum-Chairman LETS Vikas Pratap, IAS, in which   around 210 members participated.

Chairman informed the house that single point agenda to be discussed was unanimity being agreed among contesting candidates on November 23 this year and their decision not to contest election. The written request of all the contesting candidates was read in the house for seeking objections.

Since majority of the present members agreed to the proposal put up by Rajan Gupta and seconded it with thumping majority ,Chairman declared Avtar Singh as CEO, Charanjit Singh Vishkarma as Secretary , Manmohan Singh Ubhi as first Director and Jagatbir Singh as second Director of the society.

The meeting ended with the vote of thanks to the chair.

Chairman also facilitated outgoing CEO Joginder Kumar by presenting bouquet. Kumar made a small speech and disseminated among the  members about history of installation   of CETP and about efforts being put up by their team. Chairman also fecillitated Inderjit Singh Pardhan, Chairman, CICU, by presenting bouquet.

T.L. Khosla, Industrial Advisor, Director of Industry and Commerce, Punjab, Mahesh Khanna GM, DIC, Ludhiana, R.K. Goel, XEn, PPCB and H.S. Matharoo, XEN, PSIEC, also attended the meeting.
