Lecture on first death anniversary of Prof. Yash Gulati at PU

Chandigarh, February 26, 2019: Department of Hindi, Panjab University today organized a commemorative literary event as a part of its literary exchange forum, Kahi Ankahi to pay tribute to Prof.Yash Gulati on his first death anniversary. Prof Lal Chand Gupt Mangal, former head, Department of Hindi, Kurukshetra University and a close friend of late Prof.Yash Gulati spoke on the occasion and shared fond memories of his close association with Prof.Gulati. Mrs Sharda Gulati, wife of Late Prof. Gulati was the special guest for the event. Dr. Gurmeet Singh, Chairperson, Dept. of Hindi, informed that Mrs. Gulati presented a cash prize of Rs 2000 each to four meritorious students of the Department. He further informed that she also donated more than 200 books from the personal collection of Prof. Gulati that would help in enriching the Department’ s literary resources, a Printer, Scanner, Photocopier and a table to the Department.
