Ludhiana, July 14, 2013: Mohinder Singh Bhogal, Chairman of Bhogal Group of Industries and Founder President of United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association died here.
He was son of Late Karam Singh Bhogal who is known as father of bicycle and parts industry.
Mohinder Singh Bhogal was born on January 18, 1927 and spent his whole life for the development of the industry specially bicycle industry.
Gurmeet Singh Kular, president, UCPMA, Ludhiana alongwith the office-bearers has conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the family in this hour of grief and prayed to the Almighty for granting eternal peace to the departed soul and enough strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
The cremation of Mohinder Singh Bhogal will take place on July 16 at Model Town Extension crematorium. Time of cremation will be finalised on the return of Avtar Singh Bhogal son of Mohinder Singh Bhogal from USA. Avtar Singh Bhogal has gone to USA in connection with the business purpose.
The office of UCPMA, Ludhiana will remain closed on July 15 as a mark of respect to the departed soul, said a release issued by the UCPMA here today.

“Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Manish Tewari on Sunday condoled the death of MS Bhogal, a veteran industrialist from Ludhiana and the doyen of cycle parts industry in the country.
Bhogal who was the founder of bicycle parts manufacturing industry in country passed away in Ludhiana on Sunday. He was 87 and is survived by 2 sons, Avatar Bhogal, Harinder Pal Bhogal.
Tewari said in his condolence message that Bhogal's death was not only a great loss to the industry, but to Ludhiana as a whole as he happened to be one of the few exceptionally respected man in the city who had immensely contributed to its growth and development of industry.
The minister said, Bhogal will always be remembered by the people and the void created by his death will be difficult to be filled.
