LAUNCH OF SERVICES OF UIDAI ENROLLMENT & UPDATION IN POST OFFICES: D S SURI

Kapurthala, May 15, 2018: Keeping in the view of public interest of UIDAI has registered Department of Posts as his registrar to provide the services of Aadhaar Enrollment & Updation in all over India. As aware that Aadhaar has been given to more than 113 crore people in India. Approximately more than 3 Lakh people all over the country are now applying every day for updating their Aadhaar details, such as correction in names, change in address, change in photographs, change in mobile numbers etc. and this number is likely to increase.

Mr.D S Suri, Superintendent of Post Offices, Kapurthala Division intimated that the Aadhaar Enrolment and Updation/Correction work has been started in all the designated Post Offices under Kapurthala Division viz. Kapurthala, Phagwara and Nakodar Sub Divisions. New Aadhaar Cards are being prepared free of cost while there is very nominal charges for updation/correction of Aadhaar Car. Enrolment work is being done in selected post offices; however, updation is being done in all Post Offices.

He also mad eht appeal with the residents of Kapurthala, Phagwara and Nakodar to visit the nearest Post offices to avail the facility of Enrolment and Updation or Correction in their Aadhaar Cards.
