Ludhiana, February 21, 2016: Delivering effective production and to minimise wastage is the order of the day. It is the endeavour of inventors to bring out technology that serves this purpose. Various exhibitors of machines, parts and accessories have brought that technology to Ludhiana at the GMMSA EXPO - 2016. Visitors at the expo got a taste of the latest technological advancements that are available in the international market to help them compete at global level. GMMSA EXPO-INDIA 2016 has brought together the products of the garment machinery manufacturers and suppliers under one roof giving them a platform to showcase their products that come with the latest world class technology and welcomed by garment manufacturers.

Ludhiana based Mr. Samir Jain, Managing Director of Shraman Interknits said, "We understand that when people opt for foreign made machines, they would eventually require repair and upkeep. So even though you may have the best of machines, if they stall they do need technical support. So when it comes to our machines we have a technical support team ready for them."

With his focus on efficiency Mr. Amit Jain, Managing Director, Nav Pankaj Creations said, "We aim for efficiency which is why we have exhibited advanced embroidery machines that reduce production cost by reducing the production time and cutting down on manpower."

Mr. Satyadev Goyal, Branch Manager of IIGM Pvt Ltd said, "The idea of new technology is to make work easier and more efficient. We have displayed machines that attach the neck to the t-shirts. There is also a new technology that stitches in the cover seam on the overlock stitching. For the sportswear and undergarments industry, we have introduced the single operation machine that puts many parts of manufacturing into one operation."

Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Proprietor Bosom from Ludhiana said, “We have brought Eco-friendly Non woven carry bags and fabric that is being used in hosiery packing and is bio-degradable thus having minimal impact on the environment.”

Taking technology a step further the Rajasthan International stall has the Networker on display. The Managing Director of the company, Mr. Rajesh Bihani said, "The Networker is a monitoring system that keeps count of the number of units that have been produced. It keeps a track of time, manages orders and downtime and transfers data over wifi to the manufacturer on their smartphone or tablet. We also have on display a special cleaning spray that keeps the knitting needles in the machine clean thus increasing the life of the needles."

Giving the market more than merely another knitting machine, Mr. Trilok Dhingra, Managing Director, Virka Textiles said, "We are not only showcasing the regular knitting machines, we are also showcasing flatbed machines that manufacture industrial fabric. This is relatively new to the market here as it can even make the fabric that lines shoes and for other purposes.

Trying to get the latest technology into the market Mr. Kannav Arora, Manager Sales and Application Support at Dhaval Colour Chem Pvt Ltd said, "Bringing the latest technology to the market we have displayed the reactive printing machine by Korean company DGI. Our roll to roll heat transfer machine by Monti Antonio Italy will also add value to the existing production setups."
