Lala Jagat Narain remembered

Jalandhar, September 9, 2012: Lala Jagat Narain, Founder of Hind Samachar Group of Newspapers, was today remembered by various organizations.

Hind Sewa Samiti (Rashtriya) organised a function at the Samiti Office, in which rich tributes were paid to Lala Jagat Narain for his struggle during the pre- Independence period and his sincere efforts to uplift the poor and weaker sections of the society in the post Independence period serving in various capacities as a Minister in Punjab Government, Rajya Sabha MP and Chief Editor of Hind Samachar Group of Newspapers.

Others present were Samiti Chairman Shiv Dayal Chug, President Sunil Sharma , Bharamin Leader and Senior BJP Leader Vipan Sharma ,Councillor Balraj Thakur , Parveen Kohli , Shammi Kanaujia  and K.B. Sridhar , Chaggu Sobti .

At another function held at Greatway Co- education School at Kot Pakshian, rich tributes were paid to Lala Jagat Narain .  MD  Sabharwal, BJP National Executive Member and the party’s Punjab Spokesman Manoranjan Kalia (MLA), Mohinder Bhagat Vice President BJP Punjab, Rajiender Beri Councillor, Satish Kapoor Vice President BJP Jalandhar City, Former Councilor Gopal Mian and others were present.
