Krishna Bharadwaj and Manav Gohil bond over spirituality on the sets of Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama
Sony SAB’s historical dramedy Tenali Rama never fails to woo the audiences with its gripping story and interesting characters. While they depict a special bond on screen, Krishna Bharadwaj who plays Rama and Manav Gohil who portrays the character of Krishnadevaray share a very special connection off screen as well. Staying true to their characters in the show, the two are great believers in spirituality and often end up having long winding discussions about the same. Manav, who is a follower of Buddhism, shares his ideologies with Krishna, who in turn shares his strong beliefs and ideologies about spirituality and peace. Sharing more, Krishna Bharadwaj said, “We often sit together and chant in between the shots, on the sets and have also exchanged books, giving each other a little more insight into the topic. However, now that Manav is on the sets less often, I really miss him and our peaceful times together. Those moments together, for us, used to be the most relaxing ones.” Giving more insight into this spiritual bond, Manav Gohil shared, “Amidst all the other fun Krishna and I have on the sets, our spiritual times were the most unique ones. We bond a lot well over faith and religion and especially since Krishna is very well read about other religions, it is a really insightful time for me. Actors might be considered as glamorous but it’s not an easy life and what holds a person together is fundamental moments like those of sharing your ideas on spirituality and beliefs with someone who has similar views.” To witness the magical bond between Rama and Krishnadevaraya, on screen, stay tuned to Tenali Rama.
