Kohar assures inclusion of 55 loan free PUNBUSES to Punjab Roadways

Chandigarh, November 17, 2014:  Punjab Transport Minister Ajit Singh Kohar today announced that fleet of Punjab Roadways buses would soon get 55 out of 265 debt free buses from its fleet. He said the remaining 210 debt free would also be included in coming time.

While hearing the issues of Punjab Roadways in a meeting with the delegation of Joint Action Committee of Punjab Roadways, Kohar said the debt free buses will be transferred to roadways. On the demand of posts of class III and IV, Kohar also assured the delegation the vacancies lying vacant for class III and Class IV would also be filled soon. He said department was in process to fill these posts on compassionate grounds and a decision in this regard would be taken soon.

The Minister also exhorted the delegation to emphasise the need of cleanliness under Swach Bharat Abhiyan. He said state’s bus stands should also be garbage and waste free and we all should pay special attention in this regard. He assured the delegation their all issues would be sorted out soon.
