KMV's Geetika Singh honored by College Principal for her contribution to field of Regional Dances
Jalandhar, June 29, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Ranked No.1 College in India by India Today ranking, Jalandhar's Ms Geetika Singh, a faculty member in the department of Sociology has been honoured by Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi on her achievement of winning ''Lok Kala Award'' for her outstanding contribution towards the field of regional dances. The award has been given by Ministry of Culture, Government of India and North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala. An avid learner and a great trainer, Ms Geetika has groomed and trained good number of students for zonal, Inter-zonal, Intervarsity and National level competitions. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Ms Geetika Singh for her dedication and commitment. She averred that her passion for regional dance and her perfect training has borne good results and the students of KMV have won many coveted titles under her training. She further maintained that Ms Geetika should continue her passion of grooming and training the students as the students will get an opportunity to hone their skills under her guidance and KMV will continue to provide all kind of support to her in all her future endeavours.
