KMV Softball team bags Himachal Pradesh State Championship

Jalandhar, December 28, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous & Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, one of the most prestigious college of the nation not only provides a suitable environment for academics, but it also holds an upper niche over the other colleges in the field of sports also. Keeping with the tradition, KMV college softball team in a sweeping performance have bagged the Himachal Pradesh State Championship. The championship was organized at Kangra, H.P. In this championship, KMV team defeated Shimla Academy team by a difference of 9-5. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the team members namely Akshita, Monica, Shweta, Sakshi, Sheenu, Yuvika, Surbhi and Dimple on their achievement. She also lauded the efforts done by the Physical Education Department for the overall development of the students.
