KMV selected to establish IIC by Ministry of Human Resource Development, GoI- an outstanding achievement

Jalandhar, September 24, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalndhar, has got a privilege to be selected among the few institutes all over the country for establishing Institution's Innovation Council (ICC) as per the norms of the MHRD Innovation Cell(MIC) of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
The main aim of IIC at KMV will be to encourage young talented minds to participate in the entrepreneurial initiatives by providing them a perfect platform for showcasing their talents, working together as teams and to participate in various competitions. It will also create an innovative environment for the students to discover, develop and deploy their skills and talents. Furthermore, IIC will also help the students to channelize their requirements in terms of financial, technical and legal aspects. The council will also conduct seminars and workshops and also help in arranging the industrial visits.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her delight towards the establishment of IIC at KMV. She averred that the motto of KMV IIC will be to foster an entrepreneurial culture, by providing the students opportunities to transform their business ideas to reality and to promote innovation based start-ups. She further maintained that renowned entrepreneurs, government officials and experts from different fields will also be invited to guide and motivate the students.
