Jalandhar, April 26, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous institution, Jalandhar organized a Farewell party Waqt-e-Rukhsat for the outgoing students of under graduate and postgraduate classes of PG Department of Computer Science & Applications.
The day began with a floral welcome to the Chief Guest Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. The students enthralled the audience with mesmerizing cultural performances on the stage & various games played by the students also added fun to the party. The final year students reminisced about the past and thanked their teachers for grooming them to face the challenges of life. The main attraction of the program was modeling by the students of final year. They walked down the ramp with music in the background and rocked the stage. Later in the show the program was followed with the award ceremony and title distribution & various awards were given to the seniors keeping in mind their caliber and capability they have shown throughout the session. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi blessed the students for their bright and successful future & emphasized upon the concept of 'Work is Worship' & also encouraged the students to burn the midnight oil and leave no stone unturned to come out with flying colors in their future life. The judges for the event were Mrs Suman Khuranna, Dr. Ravi and Miss Gurleen. Anmol was declared IT Princess, Prabhjot bagged Miss Charming award, Miss Gorgeous award was bagged by Nidhi, Inderpreet Kaur was declared Miss Elegant and Pawandeep Kaur bagged Miss Cynosure
