A seminar on Traffic Rules being held at KMV, Jalandhar on Monday.
Jalandhar, November 10, 2014: The Student Welfare Department of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organised a one day seminar on ‘Traffic Rules’ for the students.
Shamsher Singh (Incharge Traffic Education Cell) was present on the occasion to observe the lecture delivered by Ramesh Kumar (Member, Education Cell) to the students of the college.
Addressing the students he said that with the ever-increasing number of vehicles on the road, to avoid accidents it was imperative to observe traffic rules. Number of accidents on roads were increasing alarmingly due to negligence in following of the traffic rules. Since the largest number of people present on the road were the youth it was absolutely essential to raise their awareness in this regard.
Principal KMV Prof. Atima Sharma reiterated in her interaction with the students that it was absolutely necessary to understand and observe traffic rules to stop the ever-increasing number of road accidents. She congratulated Dr. Madhumeet (Dean, Student Welfare Club) and organises Sadhna Tandon and Dr. Neeraj Sharma for the informative discourse and appreciated their laudable efforts.
