KMV organises Extension Lecture on Academic Industry Relationships

Jalandhar, February 16, 2015: P.G.Department of Commerce and Business Administration of KMV organised an extension lecture on Academia Industry Relationships Sudhir Gera, Director (Operations) with IEC, Gensets Ltd.and Ashanual Haque, President Jalandhar Management Association were the resource persons. 

Haque threw light on the concept of Industry Institute gap.  Gera highlighted the relevance of ‘Skill Mission’ initiated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Gera said that the institutes should aim on producing students, who are well equipped with employability skills rather than just being degree holders.  The learned resource persons acquainted the students with different ways to bridge the gap between industry and academic institutes so that the students get maximum employment opportunities. 

The Principal of KMV Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed gratitude towards the efforts of the members of P.G. Dept. of Commerce and Business Administration for organising this lecture.
