KMV NSS volunteers and Political Science Department visit Karari under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan
Jalandhar, June 7, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, No. 1 College in India (India Today Ranking 2019)’s Department of Political Science and volunteers of KMV NSS Unit visited the village Kararai under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Govt of India. During the visit an interview session was conducted by the faculty and NSS volunteers with the people of the village and identified major problems and issues of the village. It is worth mentioning here that under the aegis of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Kararai village was adopted by KMV in this year. A function was also held at S. Kashmira Singh Government Senior Secondary School, Kararai, in which KMV team honoured Jatinder Jorwal (IAS officer), Mrs. Balwinder Kaur Sarpanch, Harbhajan Singh Kararai. Manvinder Singh (DPRO) and Jagdish Dalia (Director Rudset).
Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV lauded the efforts of the faculty of Political Science department and NSS Unit and said that these coordinated efforts of KMV for the development and prosperity of the village under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan will be instrumental in the overall progress of the village.
