KMV NCC Unit cadets win laurels at CATC

Jalandhar, November 22, 2016: At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar add-on activities like NCC are given equal opportunity and importance, the result is evident in the performance of NCC cadets. Recently a ten-day annual training camp was organised by 21 Pb.BN NCC Kapurthala at Baba Bhagh Singh College, Padhiana (Sergeant) Sgt. Priyanka Saini won 1st position in Poster Making and Line Area. She also received a gold medal for being the only girl in Guard of Honour. She was also awarded 3rd position in 100 mtr. race. Cadet Prabhjot won 1st prize in 100 mtr. race while Cadet Onkar won 1st prize in firing. Cadet Manpreet got 2nd prize in Kho-Kho while Sgt. (Sergeant) Nisha got 2nd prize in Debate. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the NCC cadets for their excellent performance during the camp and lauded the efforts of the NCC-unit for their consistent efforts towards excellence.
