Pre-Placement Skills Programme being organised by KMV at Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, October 12, 2015: To enhance employability and groom the young scholars for being job-ready, KMV School of Communications has launched a two-week programme on Pre-Placement Skills. Its module consists of many core-areas of interview procedures followed by companies during campus placements like Resume Writing, Introducing yourself, Breaking the Ice, Telephonic Skills, Mock interviews and many more like spoken English, Confidence building, Dressing up etc. The resource person for this program is Mr.Charu Sikka, is an expert trainer in Soft Skills. Four batches of students from various departments have successfully completed this short term proficiency programme. This initiative by KMV School of Communications has created an immense interest among the students resulting in their enthusiastic participation. Lauding this initiative, the college Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi has expressed her deep satisfaction. She also maintained that such ventures that aim at transforming novices into successful professionals are indispensable feature of education at KMV- The Heritage Institution.
