KMV Establishes Innovation Hub

Will Enlighten the Students About the Concepts of Physics in a Practical Manner
Jalandhar, March 18, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar's PG Department of Physics established an Innovation Hub in collaboration with Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) & Regional Council, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The Innovation Hub was inaugurated by KMV Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. It is pertinent to mention that the Innovation Hub is an independent place of Learning, inspiration, motivation, recreation, imagination and thinking. In order to enhance the creativity and skill in education about Basic Physics, some equipments like Anharmonic Oscillator, Circular Pendulum, Kund's tube, Strip Oscillator, series of Pendulum, racing track etc. has been set up to make it easier for the students to understand the concepts of Physics in a practical manner. Furthermore, the students also showcased and explained their handmade projects such as laser security system, air gun, rocket launcher, remote controlled robot etc. Being an integral part of the Quality Education, Innovation Hub is a place where visitor can get a feel that how the great scientific innovations might have evolved through small efforts of the beginner.
Principal lauded the efforts of the PG Department of Physics for this initiative. She also averred that such type of innovations go a long way in creating interest about the subject in young and vibrant minds so that the students can be motivated to explore all the aspects of the subject.
