KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School Badminton Team wins Championship

Jalandhar, October 9, 2016: At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar victory in sports is pursued with passion and diligence, the KMV Department of Sports has won many championships and this time it is KMV Collegiate Sr.Sec.School Badminton team which has won the Jalandhar District Badminton Championship played at Hans Raj Stadium, Jalandhar. They defeated Govt.Sr.Sec.School, Rurka Kalan in semi-final by 21-3, 21-7 singles and 21-14, 21-10 in doubles. In the Final the tea defeated Model Public School, Ramgarhia by 21-14, 21-3 in singles and 21-7, 21-6 points in doubles. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the young sports-women for working hard, striving unceasingly for victory and making it a reality. She also congratulated Ms. Ashoo Bajaj and Ms. Dipika and the parents for being the guiding force behind the victory and helping the young girls unconditionally.
