K.M.V Collegiate School organises Youth Parliament

Jalandhar, May 27, 2017: Department of Political Science of KMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar organized "Youth Parliament " to give practical knowledge to the students regarding the functioning of Indian Parliamentary session. Around 40 students participated in this event and depicted different parliamentary roles of Ruling party, opposition party, speaker, Left wing, Right wing etc. The Principal of KMV Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the efforts made by the students and the faculty for the successful organization of the event. Madam shared with the students her views regarding how the youth can contribute to the growth of India. The need of the hour is that the youth should come forward and take active interest in politics. Dr. Kamaljit, Dr. Madhumeet, Ms. Ashima and Ms. Richa Sharma were present on the occasion.
