KMV Collegiate School Handball team bags first position in District Championship

Jalandhar, November 11, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous & Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, one of the most prestigious college of the nation not only provides a suitable environment for academics, but it also holds an upper niche over the other colleges in the field of sports also. Keeping with the tradition, KMV Collegiate school has bought great laurels to the KMV. KMV Collegiate School Handball team in a sweeping performance have won District School Championship for the third year in succession. They defeated M.G.N. School in the final match by 14-0. The team will further participate in the State Championship. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the team on their achievement and also appreciated the efforts of the Physical Education Department. She also lauded the efforts of the handball team members namely Gurbir Kaur (Captain), Ashanpreet, Navpreet, Manpreet, Sima, Sunita, Neha, Preeti, Simran, Pratibha.
