KMV celebrates Christmas with fervor
Students exchanged sweets and gifts amongst one other Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 College in India by India Today Ranking (Various Categories) celebrated the auspicious festival of Christmas in the college campus with religious gaiety, fervor and enthusiasm. The students of the hostel of KMV exchanged sweets and gifts amongst one other. The students also donated various gifts to the 'Empathy Corner' of the college in order to help the needy persons. The celebration brought cheer to every student and staff, and motivated everyone to become more kind and also to live in harmony with each other. Various activities were also held during the celebration which aimed at improving knowledge, friendship and sense of belonging among the students. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi gave her kind wishes to all the students and the faculty members of the college on this auspicious occasion and averred that the message of Jesus Christ of Universal Brotherhood, Communal Harmony and the service of poor should motivate each and every person to contribute for the betterment of the society. She also wished that this bonhomie and harmony should ever prevail in KMV.
