Khalsa Football Club Amritsar wins 30th Shaheed Dal Bahadur Durga Mal Football Championship

Dharamshala, May 3, 2018: Khalsa Football Club Amritsar defeated Du Like Football Club Jalandhar by 5-2 in penalty shootout in the final of the 30th Shaheed Dal Bahadur Durga Mal All India Gold Cup Football Championship to win a cash prize of Rs.51000 beside the cup.
Both the teams were 1-1 at the end of the play.
The runners up team won Rs.31,000.
Goalkeeper Taranjit of Jalandhar was declared best goalkeeper of the championship.
The fair play trophy was awarded to Himachal Football Association Team.
The championship was played here from 29th April to 3rd May.
The Food, Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Kishan Kapoor gave away the prizes.
