Jalandhar, December 20, 2014: The cross country team of Lyallpur Khalsa College has won the inter-college competition of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar. Four students of the college team have been selected to represent the university in inter varsity competitions.
This information was given by the college Principal Dr GS Samra in a press release. He said that this success is a result of strenuous efforts made by the college for achieving excellence in sports college. He also informed that the college had won the university overall sports trophy for 13 times out of which 11 times it was won consecutively.
The president of the college management Balbir Kaur congratulated Prof. S.S. Bains Dean Sports, Prof. Jaspal Singh Head of the department, Prof. Tarsem Singh Incharge and coaches of the team on this success.
