Jalandhar, November 12, 2014: Aman Ghai, a student of Lyallpur Khalsa College has won first positions in 50 meters and 100 meters butterfly and 200 meters freestyle swimming in the all India Interuniversity Swimming Championship being held at Bangalore.
The college Principal Dr. GS Samra informed that Aman Ghai’s excellent performance facilitated second position for Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar in intervarsity competitions. He said that college was committed to promotion of sports in the region so that the youth could be saved from evils like drug abuse.
Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint Secretary and Sardarni Balbir Kaur President College Governing Council congratulated Ghai and his coaches as well as the sports department of the college on this achievement.
