Kawaldeep Singh wins Bodybuilding Blitz organized at CT Group of Institutions

Jalandhar, December 20, 2016: As part of its initiatives towards encouragement of youth and development of sports culture, CT Group of Institutions in association with Fitness Freaks organized Bodybuilding Blitz on Tuesday. In which Kawaldeep Singh from Jalandhar emerged winner in the inaugural edition of Bodybuilding Blitz held at CT Shahpur. In the tournament over 130 bodybuilders across Punjab participated in the much coveted tournament of Punjab. Kawaldeep is the winner of Open weight category.
Immediately after the win, an elated Kawaldeep said he would be happy to carry the glorious legacy of Punjab. He said, “I will continue this passion of mine and would like to win several medals by participating in such tournaments of great honour.”
Karan Kaura and Harmanpreet won the second and third place respectively in the Open category.
In second category of 65-75 Kgs, Pappu Masih, Rahul and Jadgeep Singh while in third category of 55-65 Kgs, Aman Billa, Jaspreet and Arun Kumar won the top three positions respectively.
The Special Guests for the event were Miss India and Roadies X4 Fame Ms. Karishma Arora, Mr. Balraj Khehra (Winner Roadies X4) and Mr. Asia and 2016 Arnold Classic (USA) Champion Mr. Ashok Kumar. They not only enjoyed but also enjoyed the performances and hard work of the participants. Ms. Karishma Arora said, “I am highly motivated to witness such fabulous performances by the youth of Punjab. But at the same time, I urge females to come out and perform in this field as well.”
The special guests felicitated the winners of all the categories in the presence of Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) and other members of the management, faculty and students. Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) said that Instead of going towards unhealthy practices of life, our youngsters of Punjab should follow the healthy practices of life by making their body healthy. He said, “The commemoration of such events is very essential to raise the messages of Eat Healthy Live Healthy and Healthy Body Possesses Healthy Mind. I truly believe in these messages and always try to create awareness by encouraging others towards it as well.”
