Kapil and Mmonika arrive in city

Plan to add t-shirts and merchandise with support slogans for Obama for elections

Ludhiana, August 16, 2012: Renowned fashion designers Kapil and Mmonika have said they like US president Barack Obama’s dress sense.

Addressing a press conference here this evening, they added they wished to prepare a dress for Obama. “We have already sent an invite in this regard to Obama”, revealed Kapil.

Adding, he said let them see what happened.

They told that they planned to add t-shirts and merchandise with the support slogans for Obama for elections.

Replying to a question, they told that they had prepared dresses for Bollywood stars and even for a politicians. Bollywood celebrities icnldued Mugdha Godse, Diana Hayden, Mahie Gill, Prachi Desai and Krishna Kapoor.  

Both the noted designers told that they noticed that Punjab was becoming a fashion hub after Delhi. They believed that people of Punjab were fashion conscious and there was a lot of scope for fashion designing business in Punjab.

They revealed that they had chosen “red colour” for this year.    

 Replying to a question, they revealed that they were here to present their wedding collection for the modern bride and groom. They said the line comprised cocktail sarees, lehengas and gowns in vibrant colours with intricate zari work. They said the collection also had vivid choice for modern age groom starting from western suits to traditional sherwanis, kurtas and other items.

Models wearing dresses prepared by duo designers will walk on the ramp during this late evening.
