Kamal Sharma, President, BJP Punjab, on Sunday distributes funds to 300 families under Shagun Schemeat BDPO Office, Ferozepur.
Ferozepur, January 5, 2014: Kamal Sharma, President, BJP Punjab, today distributed funds to 300 families under Shagun Scheme started by Punjab Government at BDPO Office here. The function was organised by Block Panchyat Samiti, Ferozepur.
Sharma distributed a sum of Rs.15,000 each to three hundred families. In his address, he praised the initiatives taken by Punjab government for the welfare of underprivileged strata. He also mentioned that Punjab government has sanctioned Rs.57 crore for the construction of hundred percent sewerage, refinement of roads, street lights and better sources of commutation in this border area.
He added Punjab Chief Minister, Punjab Parkash Singh Badal will inaugurate government college at village Mohkam Khan Wala at Zira road on March 23.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, J.C.Sabharwal also addressed the gathering and invited suggestion from common people for a better administration.
