Kalia pay’s tributes to Father of Nation

Jalandhar, October 2, 2012: BJP national executive member and the party’s state unit Spokesman Manoranjan Kalia today paid tributes to Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding his statue at Company Bagh here.

He also garlanded the statue of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri at Shashtri Market Chowk.

Speaking on the occasion, Kalia said that Mahatma Gandhi played an effective role in the freedom movement and followed the path of “Ahinsa” whereas on the other hand Lal Bahadur Shastri gave the slogan of “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” and “Green Revolution “.

BJP State Media Cell Convener Rajat Mohindru, District General Secretary Anil Sacher, BJP Mandal No 5 President Jawahar Sood, General Secretary Vijay Kalia, Gulshan Vyas, Councilor Varinder Sharma , Sukdev Singh Dindsa , Sunil Chowdhary, Ashish Chopra, Ved Rattan were among those present.
