Journalists’ Union holds meeting

Ferozepur, August 22, 2012 : A meeting of Chandigarh-Punjab Union of Journalists, Ferozepur Unit was held under the presidentship of Madan Lal Tiwari here today to apprise the proceedings of the State Union meeting held at Gobindgarh on August 12 and to chalk out the plans to organise a programme for the welfare of the needy people.

It was the general consensus that the journalists should also come forward in the field of social service by organising a function locally where the dignitary from the district administration or politicians may be invited.

All the present members agreed to the proposal and the president appealed to come with a concrete proposal to be discussed in the next monthly meeting.
