Chandigarh, September 28, 2012: The Punjab government today suspended Jagjit Singh, Joint Director, Skill Development Cell of Technical Education due to corruption charges with immediate effect.
The spokesman of the Punjab government today said that departmental inquiry has also been started against Jagjit Singh.
Anil Joshi, Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister, Punjab said that corruption in the department would not be tolerated at any cost and total transparency would be ensured.
He ordered to the staff to work with total dedication for betterment of the society and provide efficient services for an all inclusive growth of the state.
