JKEEGA delegation meets Dy CM; Call off proposed strike

JAMMU, APRIL 09: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduate Association (JKEEGA) today met Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and apprised him of their demands viz-a-viz regularization at all cadres, Assured Career Progression (ACP) and filling up of vacancies in all cadres.
After assurance from the Dy CM, the Association called off their strike which was proposed to be held from tomorrow onwards i.e., April 10, 2017.
Dr Singh assured JKEEGA that their genuine demands will be taken up with the concerned for early redress.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretary, PDD, Dheeraj Gupta, CEs, SEs, XENs, President JKEEGA Pirzada Hidayatullah and General Secretary Neeraj Sharma besides Executive Council of JKEEGA.
