Jalandhar, April 20, 2015: In "Jashn e Alvida", a farewell party organised for the students of M Com semester 4 of DAV College Jalandhar juniors said "Don't you say goodbyes, because who knows where we meet again".

In the releasing ceremony of M Com semester 4, whole auditorium danced to the beats of "Chittiyan Kalaiyaaan Ve, Abhi To Party Shuru Hui Hai, Aunty Police bulaaalegi and mai lovely ho gyi haan". Dav college's M COM semester 2 students bade farewell to the seniors in the form of "Jashn e alvida". This day was dedicated to those days and moments that outgoing students have spent with their friends, teachers and juniors. Prof Vijay Gupta was the chief guest of the function, who was florally welcomed by President of Commerce Forum madam Prof Nidhi Aggarwal, Prof VK sareen, Prof Arun Mehra, Prof Rajeev Sharma and Prof Ashok Kapoor.

Function began with Saraswati Vandana and the holy lamp lighting followed by the official welcome of everyone by Prof Vijay Gupta. He wished luck to the outgoing students and motivated them to take an edge in the final examinations.

Prof Vijay Gupta said "Excellent students always have a bright future. All that they need is dedication, hard work, passion and the will power to achieve something".  he motivated the students to their best.

Program saw a happening dance performance by Komal on the song "Mai lovely ho gyi haan". Stage was anchored by Aarzoo And Harleen Paabla.  Shivani and Palak's dance performance convinced everyone to dance heavily. In a PowerPoint presentation "college days" Rajni, Gazal, Palak And Harpreet tried to depict the college life.

Whole auditorium danced to the beats of bhangra. Inspite of it, play, skit and games were also conducted. Seniors participated in modelling, in which stage was handled by Navneet And Geetanjali. All the seniors were presented with the token of remembrance and love.

At the end of the program, song sung by Bhavleen " alwida alwida yaara alwida" left everyone in tears.

Shailja delivered the valedictory speech and said "this time is not meant to say good bye but it is to remember all the good moments spent with every single person and to promise the teachers that we will certainly work hard in the future to attain every single bit of our dream so that we could make our college and teachers proud. "

Role of judges was excellently played by Prof Arun Mehra, Prof Ashok Kapoor, Prof Manish Khanna, Prof Ram Kumar and Prof Ekjot Kaur.

Valedictory speech from the Teachers was delivered by Dr Sanjeev Sharma, new president of commerce forum.

On this occasion, Prof Rajeev Puri, Prof Manish Arora, Dr Satish ahuja, Prof Manav Aggarwal, Prof Amit Jain, Dr Rajwant Kaur, Prof Naveen Sood and Prof Naveen Saini were also present.
