Jalandhar, March 12, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar has been at the fore front in imparting quality education to the students. Keeping with the trend, students of Journalism & Mass Communication (Sem. III) fetched laurels to the institution by bagging top university positions in the results declared by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. It is a matter of great proud that 10 positions in the University Examinations are bagged by the students of KMV. Janvi (Sem III) stood first in the university with 370\450 marks, while Tania (Sem III) bagged fourth position in the university with 345\450 marks and Deepanshu stood fifth in the University with 344\450 marks. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students for this outstanding success and lauded the efforts of Department of Journalism & Mass Communication. She averred that in KMV the most suitable ambience is provided to the students so that they can excel in their studies as in KMV equal amount of importance is given to the practical study along with the theoretical study. She further wished all the achievers a very bright and brilliant future and maintained that KMV will continue to support them in all their upcoming ventures for their overall development. It is important to mention that Amanat bagged 7th position with 340\450 marks, Garima Behl stood 8th with 336\450 marks, Anu Bala stood 10th with 330\450 marks, Aarushi bagged 11th position with 328\450 marks, Himali Talwar bagged 13th position with 326\450 marks, Sarbjeet Kaur bagged 14th position with 325\450 marks and Rohanika bagged 25th position with 301\450 marks respectively in the University Examinations.
