Jalandhar News- Paul Masefield and Michael O’ Brian visiting Jalandhar today

Jalandhar, September 28, 2013: Paul Masefield and Michael O’ Brian will be here today to grace the occasion of the launch of  Kooh Sports Football Academy which starts on the 7th of October at Ivy World School, Rama Mandi.

Paul Masefield is an English former football right back and TV pundit at ESPN Sports who played professional football in England for a number of years before moving to Asia and playing in local Asian leagues.

Michael O’Brien has come on board KOOH Sports as the International Football Coach. He handles the deployment of the Football programme through the Football Development Centres across the country.

PAUL MASFIELD

Paul Masefield is an English former football right back and TV pundit @ ESPN Sports who played professional football in England for a number of years before moving to Asia and playing in local Asian leagues.

 Paul with his enormous expertise in the game is currently helping KOOH Sports set up the Football program. He is actively involved in the ideation and deployment of the program across the centres.

Based out of Singapore, Paul has coached for -Singapore Coaching School, Sing Tao Club HK, Limerick Town Football Club, Preston North End, Stockport County, Birmingham City.

He has been qualified in English Football Association Professional Football Management course and been awarded the English Football Association Advanced coaching award and holds a full license.

He has played with - Birmingham City F.C, Eire Preston North End F.C, Limerick Town F.C, Sing Tao Sports Club, Clementi Khalsa F.C.

He is currently handling multiple projects in Malaysia. As the Managing Director of Little League Soccer and Mustang Football Club at Turf City he is handling both the companies. He co-founded The Premier Pitch and is conceptualizing a Turf City Junior Soccer League again in Malaysia.

MICHAEL O’BRIEN

Michael O’Brien has come on board KOOH Sports as the International Football Coach. He handles the deployment of the Football programme through the Football Development Centres across the country.

He plays an active role in planning and delivery of training sessions along with long-term structure and direction of coaching at the academy.

Michael comes with huge experience in working with individuals from a wide range of different backgrounds, across the full age range and abilities of youth football. For the last 5 years, he was working as a Head Coach with Little League Soccer, a football academy in Kuala Lumpur and was also coaching U-19 Girls and Boys team in his first year in Malaysia. His experience includes coordinating delivery of co-curricular multi sports programmes, both in schools and in the academy centre.

He has several professional coaching qualifications like UEFA B license and FA Level 1 &2 in football coaching.
