Jalandhar, December 7, 2014: Annual Day 2014 at Cambridge International Foundation School was a day when students propelled life and energy to the Learning Wings motto-Dream. Dare. Do. They demonstrated once again that as IB & CIE students they were striving to excel in everything that they aspired to do. This day brought to the forefront the fact that the students were global citizens willing to make the world a better place, in their own way. Kamal Kishor Yadav;Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar who was the Chief Guest expressed happiness to be a part of this occasion and appreciated the efforts put in by the students. The Annual Report presented by the students highlighted the commendable achievements of the students in the past year. The dance of five elements paid a glorious tribute to the bountiful nature and the need to preserve it. The street play 'Bharat ki Nai pehchaan' sent a strong message that we need to be the change that we want to see in the world. The song and dance performance by the students of PYP enthralled the audience. Bhangra was a riveting performance for which the students received huge applause. The tiny tots of Kindergarten AND Sparkling Stars over shined the confidence of their teachers on stage through various dance performances presented by them. An enactment based on the theme Togetherness displaying various skills stole the show. The hard work of the teachers and the young ones really geared up everybody.  The Chief Guest also inaugurated the exhibition that showcased the talent of the students. The exhibition was very interesting and informative. A number of projects like 'Eco City' and a wide array of games enraptured the audience. The parent community was especially delighted to see their children engaged in work that was so interesting and informative. The entire function was a clear reflection of the Cambridge philosophy and vision that education serves the purpose of sculpting morals and shaping future global citizens of tomorrow.
