Ivyian Young Qawwals Create Musical Magic

Jalandhar, December 30, 2017: Inter-House Qawwali Competition was held in Ivy World School to give exposure to the students about this genre of music and making this centuries old music relevant to today’s audience. Qawwali is a major tradition of Indian devotional music and the students under the guidance of the Music teachers were quite successful in learning the nuances of Qawwali singing.
The Champions house achieved the first position in this competition followed by Winners House at the second position. Victors House achieved the third position .The notable individual performances in the Qawwali competition were Prabhprateek Singh of 6 Mars and Kashvi Madhok of 4 Shivalik.
