Ivy World School Hosts Sahodya Maths and Science Quiz 2016

Jalandhar, July 23, 2016: Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of Vasal Educational Society, hosted the Sahodhya Maths and Science Quiz 2016 at the K.K Auditorium on the school premises. Almost twenty-eight teams from different schools participated in the event which was marked by stages of qualification through different rounds. The teams sat for a written competitive round to qualify for the coveted seat in the quiz where four teams finally qualified for participation. The quiz was a study in rushing adrenalin as the participating teams faced five rounds of questions to reach the trophy. The rounds included a buzzer round and a rapid fire round that tested the speed of response of the teams. The school has used the quiz app software developed in-house using the technology of ASP.net. After an intense and grueling round of questions and answers, finally the best team won. Ivy world school scored maximum points and won the first trophy to team second from DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur,2nd position was won by Innocent Heart School and 3rd position was won by Army Public School, Jalandhar. The Chairman of Jalandhar Independent School Sahodhya Complex, Mr. Jorawar Singh, appreciated the participating teams and accompanying educators for their enthusiastic participation, congratulating the worthy winners who proved that aspirations and talent are without limits. The Principal, Ivy World School, Mrs. S.Chauhan, congratulated all the participating teams over their stupendous performance and motivated the winners to scale higher echelons. The Chairman, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, VES appreciated the efforts and hardwork put by the school faculty and the supporting staff towards ensuring the grand success of the organized event.
