Jalandhar, May 12, 2016: Ivy World School, Jalandhar, students continued their winning streak with another win under their belt. They won the first prize in the Maths Origami Sahodhya Competition held at DIPS School Urban Estate. Amongst thirty five schools, Ivyians stood first when they created an origami model of a Smart City. The contest was organized to bring to fore the ingenuity of the new generation in building cities that are more conducive to modern engineering and keeping the environment clean. The model which was created by the Ivyians Ebhav and Divanshu Sharma was four feet long and two feet wide. It showed a smart city with bridges for traffic regulation, environment friendly lighting, atmosphere free of pollution, completely equipped with all facilities, sky towers and designated green belt areas. The model was deemed to be perfect for the next generation to work and live in a better atmosphere without draining our natural resources. The principal, Mrs.S.Chauhan applauded their effort and victory, encouraging the students to work towards scaling greater heights.
