IOC holds manifesto meet in Dubai for NRIs

Chandigarh, February 24, 2019: Congress Party organised a meeting with NRI Community in order to know their views and needs about the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Party President Rahul Gandhi, Sam Petroda( Head of IOC) Himanshu Vyas secy AICC, Madhu Yaskhi secy AICC, Rajeev Howda MP ,Convener manifesto committee AICC and other Senior leaders met in UAE in order to discuss the needs and expectations of NRI Community from upcoming elections.

Sam Petroda said the party was trying to know the needs of NRI Community and all this data would be given to Manifesto Incharge P. Chidambaram.

With this aim 180 delegates from across 40 countries were invited for this grand meeting on February 22 and 23 in Dubai.

Environment , Technology , Health , Agriculture Finance , Urbanisation , Emoloyment , Foreign ideology were the major issues in the meeting.

Among others present included Mahinder S. Gilzian ( President IOC U.S.A), Amarpreet Aulakh (President IOC, Canada), Manoj Sheron (President IOC, Australia), Kamal Dhaliwal (President IOC UK), Rajwinder Singh(Convener IOC , Europe) , Dilbagh Chana(President IOC Italy) , Mohammad Iqbal( President IOC , Saudi Arabia), Joy kochattu ( President IOC ,Switzerland), Sirosh George( President IOC,Austria), Varinder Vashisth, Harbachan Singh, Pawan Dewan (PPCC General Secretary).
