International Namdhari Sangat has strongly condemned assault on Namdhari sect head Satguru Uday Singh

Ludhiana, August 12, 2013: International Namdhari Sangat has strongly condemned assault on Namdhari sect head Satguru Uday Singh at Leicester in UK.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the International Namdhari Sangat chairman Jaswinder Singh Bagga, president Navtej Singh, secretary Gurmit Singh and other office-bearers said the life of Thakur was also in danger. They demanded adequate security for Thakur Dalip Singh.
They appealed to the police in England to hold an independent inquiry into the case of assault on Satguru Uday Singh and expose the forces behind this attack and strict action be initiated against the accused. At the same time, they also urged upon the Indian Government and the Punjab Government to built a pressure on the UK government to hold an independent inquiry into the case of assault. They said it should also be probed to find out whether or not the accused had any connection with India or Punjab.
They feared that now Thakur Dalip Singh could also be attacked after the incident of assault on Satguru Uday Singh, therefore, they sought adequate security for Thakur Dalip Singh.
Earlier, the International Namdhari Sangat members prayed to the Almighty for the early recovery of Satguru Uday Singh.
