Kapurthala, October 13, 2014: Pushpa Gujral Science City in collaboration with Ministry of Earth Sciences celebrated International day for Reduction of Natural Disaster on Monday. Dr Rajesh Grover, Director, PGSC during his address to the participants said that advanced warning signals and disaster preparedness to manage natural disasters can at least reduce damage to much extent. Training of local people in the disaster prone areas can better help to mobilize resources and reduce the ill effects of disaster.
