International Bicycle & Fitness Expo 2015 kicks off in January
Ludhiana, 26 December, 2014: In an effort to promote fitness as a preventative care and to showcase the latest technology and services in the fitness industry, ADA Expo & Events (jointly owned by Hero Cycles and Wheel Publications & Expositions) announced the commencement of International Bicycle & Fitness Expo 2015(IBFE). IBFE is a three day bicycle, e-bike and fitness equipment trade and industry fair. 
The Expo is scheduled to be held in Exhibition Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from January 29 to 31. The fair will be organized exclusively for bicycles, bicycle parts, e-bikes, fitness equipment manufacturers, traders, customers, dealers, importers, exporters and members of the public. The Expo will be organised as per international standards. Importer & manufacturers from Europe, China, Japan and Taiwan are expected to visit the # day show.
Anil Khurana, Managing Director, ADA Expo & Events says “It is a moment of pride to announce the launch of IBFE to be held in January. The Expo will provide an excellent platform for exhibitors to introduce their latest products and technology.”
Khurana further added, “India is the second largest bicycle producing country in the world and sells nearly 20 million bicycles every year. The Expo will provide a platform that will catalyze the growth of the fitness industry by engaging the entire fitness ecosystem and driving it towards becoming an organized sector.” 
With fitness being the new trend for all age groups, this Expo will be a great attraction for people who are passionate about fitness and health. The aim is to provide a platform to foster partnerships in the sector and to convert potential into commerce. The Expo will also provide visitors direct access to manufacturers and distributors of the latest fitness equipment, technology and services.
Among others, Hero Cycles Ltd MD SK Rai, UCPMA president Charanjit Singh Vishawkarma, FICO president Gurmeet Singh Kular, also addressed the press conference. Hero Cycles Ltd Ashok Bawa was also present. All of them were of the opinion that the forthcoming event would prove beneficial for bicycle industry of Ludhiana. 
There would be around 100 participants in the event. Delegates from abroad are also arriving. 
The organisers told that Delhi has been selected for holding the event because it had better connectivity compared to Ludhiana for all those arriving at the event. Besides, Delhi as compared to Ludhiana had better infrastructure and facilities for holding such an international-level event. 
All those who addressed the media persons told that time had arrived now when there was a need to promote bicycle as fitness equipments besides mode of transportation.  They believed that there had arrived stagnation in bicycle industry in India there was it was must to promote industry at international level for further growth.
