Interactive seminar related to co-operative societies
Mumbai, December 9, 2019: An inter-active seminar related to co-operative societies was successfully organised by the Ekata Manch- a social organisation and Department of Co-Operation Maharashtra State at Children Welfare Centre High School (CWCHS), Versova, Andheri (West), Mumbai on Sunday. Hundreds of people participated in the seminar. On the occasion an impressive programme was organised by the Ekata Manch Chairman Ajay Kaul, for which all participants profusely thanked him. Shiv Sena MP Gajanan Kirtikar, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies CS (K ward) Nitin Dahibhate, Former Chairman and Director of Mumbai District Housing Federation Limited P C Churi, Housing Consultant Vijay Samant, Advocate Uday Wavikar (Consumer Courts), former Chairman of the BMC’s Standing Committee Shailesh Phanse,Ekata Manch Chairman Ajay Kaul, Activity Chairman of CWCHS Prashant Kashid attended the function and graced the occasion. In the seminar various issues related to cooperative societies were discussed and the participants were given information about cooperative regulations. “ The developers cannot sell open parking space, members can approach consumer courts against the society, the society cannot collect extra charges from members for carrying pets (dogs/cats) in the lift, but it can collect fine if members dirty the society premises” such issues were discussed in the seminar. Besides, the participants were also briefed about the regulations of the redevelopment and their benefits. After completion of the seminar Activity Chairman of CWCHS Prashant Kashid thanked one and all for participating in the seminar and makes it big success.
