Students participate in an Inter House Chess Competition being held at DIPS Koral Bagh (Jalandhar) on Thursday.
Jalandhar, May 15, 2015: In order to bring the sense of competition among the students, the inter house chess competition was held at DIPS Koral Bagh on Thursday. The competition divided in two parts under 14 girls and boys & under 16 girls and boys. All the houses participated in competition. Under 14 category(Boys) Mudit Sharma from 7th A (Dimond House) got first position whereas Jatandeep Singh from Sapphire House got second position. Under 14 category (Girls) Alisha from 8th B (Ivory House) bagged first position whereas Shreya from 7th A (Pearl House) captured second position.
Under 16 category (Boys) Aayush Chauhan from 10th B (Pearl House) bagged first position. Aman Rana (Ivory House) from 10th B remained second. Under 16 (Girls) Diksha from 10th B (Dimond House) & Ishika from 10th A bagged first and second positions, respectively. On this occasion vice chairperson Preetinder Kaur congratulate the winners for their success. Principal Sarvesh Deol congratulated the students and wished them a great future ahead.
