Amritsar, April 24, 2015: The Law Department of Guru Nanak Dev University won the Inter-Department Cricket Championship (Men) by defeating Department of Social Science. The Electronics Technology Department remained third by defeating School of Punjabi Studies. Jaseen Sethi was adjudged Man of Match. This championship concluded last evening at the sports stadium of the University.
In women section, Computer Science and Engineering Department won the this championship by defeating Chemistry Department while Law Department remained third by defeating Electronics Technology Department.
Prof. A.S. Sidhu, Dean, Students’ Welfare presided over the prize distribution function and distributed trophies and certificates to the winners. As many as 24 teams participated in this championship. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
