Ferozepur, November 5, 2012: The students of RSD College , Ferozepur, namely Rajpal and Mandeep getting distinction in inter-college wrestling competition organised by Panjab University , Chandigarh were honoured by Kamal Sharma, political advisor to chief minister, Punjab .
On this occasion, Kamal Sharma said, “Special efforts are being made by the Punjab government for the welfare of students and development of sports activities and appreciated the distinction conferred on two students of RSD College for getting Silver Medal by Rajpal in 55 kg inter-college wrestling competition and by Mandeep in 66 kg Bronze Medal”.
He appealed to the youths to become best sportsmen by keeping themselves away from drug addiction which will highlight the name of the city, state and nation as well besides remaining physically fit.
On the occasion, Amrinder Singh Sheena, Jimy Sandhu, Narinder Mukhija, Harvinder Harr, Sarvotam Vijay Atwal, Tejinder Singh, Jugraj Singh and in good number of Akali-BJP workers were present.
