Amritsar, December 14, 2015: On the third day today “Refresher Course on Visual and Performing arts” Currently going on in the HRDC, GNDU Amritsar, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, Course Coordinator and Dean, Department of Music in the first academic session tried to know the potential of the participants. In the record Academic session eminent Sculpture Prof O.P Verma was specially invited as resource person. He worked as a senior artiest for 35 years in Medical College, Amritsar and then retired. He gave a demonstration in clay by making an idol of sarawati Goddess which will be safely kept in the music department. Dr.Indu Sudhir threw light of the life, achievements and contribution in the art field by Prof. Verma. In the Third academic session Prof. S. S. Gill Ex-Vice Chancellor Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot was the resource person.
