Instructions regarding publication of notifications

Chandigarh, September 3, 2012: The Punjab Government today issued strict instructions regarding the publication of notifications in the gazette.

The Legal Remembrance, Punjab today said that under the new instructions all the departments have been asked to send the matter in CD or pen drive to be published along with the copies of the blue print of the matter.

He further said that besides that all the departments have also been asked to compare the matter with the blue print of the Law Department and also to send the three attested copies to the Law Department, so that the possibilities of error should be removed during publication. He said that all departments should send the matter up to 12.30pm, which they want to be published on the same day; otherwise they should send it on the very next day. He said that it has also made mandatory to clarify that the sent matter to be published in special or ordinary gazette.

The spokesman further said that the concerned department should also make it clear that how many copies they want to publish for their use. The phone numbers of concerned superintendent should also be mention in the matter, so that Law Department could contact directly to the superintendent in case of any enquiry.
